AI-Powered Health Insights — Data Processing Disclosure

MotionSync uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized health insights through our AI Health Coach feature. When you use this feature, the following health data may be shared with our AI processing infrastructure:

• Vitals — heart rate, blood pressure measurements
• Sleep — duration, quality score, deep sleep percentage
• Activity — daily steps, active minutes, workout data
• Health Profile — height, weight, medication names
• Goals — active health goal names and progress

Third-Party AI Service Provider

Your health data is processed by open-weight AI models running on SayGM, a confidential AI inference service. We only use SayGM's confidential models, which run inside a hardware-isolated trusted execution environment (Intel TDX), so your data is not forwarded to other AI companies such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. Your data is processed solely to generate your health insights and chat responses. SayGM's data handling is described in its privacy documentation.

Your Control

You can control whether your health data is shared with the AI at any time:

• A consent dialog is shown before your first AI chat interaction
• You can toggle health data sharing on or off in Settings → Privacy & Security → AI Health Coach
• When disabled, you can still use the AI chat but without personalized health context

Other Third-Party Services

• Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) — crash reporting and error tracking. No personal health data is sent to Sentry.
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management. Receives your user ID and purchase history.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure hosting all backend services. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Google Health Data

If you choose to connect Google Health, MotionSync asks Google for read-only access to:

• Activity and fitness — steps, distance, calories, active zone minutes and exercise sessions
• Health metrics and measurements — heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, respiratory rate, sleep temperature, weight and body fat
• Sleep — sleep sessions and sleep stages

How we use it

We use this data only to provide features you can see: your health dashboard, trends, daily summaries and notifications, and, if you turn on AI health data sharing, the context for your AI Health Coach answers (processed as described above). We never sell it, never use it for advertising, never use it to decide credit-worthiness or lending, never transfer it to data brokers or information resellers, and never use it to train AI models. People at MotionSync do not read it unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security or to comply with the law, or it has been aggregated and anonymized.

Storage and sharing

Google Health data is stored on Amazon Web Services, encrypted in transit and at rest. The only other party that receives it is SayGM, for AI Health Coach answers, and only when you have turned on AI health data sharing.

Disconnecting and deleting

• Disconnect Google Health in the app's device settings at any time. We revoke our access with Google and delete our stored access tokens, so no new data is read.
• Delete your account in the app (You → Delete Account) to permanently delete all your data, including data received from Google Health.
• To delete only your Google Health data and keep your account, email support@motionsynchealth.com.
• You can also remove MotionSync's access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

The use of information received from Google Health API and/or Developer Tools will adhere to the Google Health API Developer and User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
