AI-Powered Health Insights — Data Processing Disclosure

MotionSync uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized health insights through our AI Health Coach feature. When you use this feature, the following health data may be shared with our AI processing infrastructure:

• Vitals — heart rate, blood pressure measurements
• Sleep — duration, quality score, deep sleep percentage
• Activity — daily steps, active minutes, workout data
• Health Profile — height, weight, medication names
• Goals — active health goal names and progress

Third-Party AI Service Provider

Your health data is processed by Anthropic's Claude AI via Amazon Web Services (AWS) Bedrock, a secure, managed AI service. Anthropic processes your data solely to generate health insights and does not retain your personal health data after processing. Anthropic's data handling practices are governed by their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Your Control

You can control whether your health data is shared with the AI at any time:

• A consent dialog is shown before your first AI chat interaction
• You can toggle health data sharing on or off in Settings → Privacy & Security → AI Health Coach
• When disabled, you can still use the AI chat but without personalized health context

Other Third-Party Services

• Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) — crash reporting and error tracking. No personal health data is sent to Sentry.
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management. Receives your user ID and purchase history.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure hosting all backend services. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
